haiku collection i

the fiddler

Hand grasping the bow
Row after row after row
Pulling the heartstrings.

the betrayer

Wide eyes, perfect teeth
That would rip out my throat in
A single heartbeat.

the concert

A howl in the night
Smoke rising from the city
The concert begins.

A heavy blanket
Over the skies west, blazing
Orange and pink—dusk

I've always preferred non-traditional haikus (not about nature and without a seasonal element). These were all written in about 10 seconds, each requiring little thought. Does that show in the results? You tell me.
