six word stories by you

by - 5/11/2015 06:19:00 pm

I was kind of inspired by a few gallery posts I'd read before, and I wanted to do an interactive post, because you wonderful people are one of the main reasons I blog. By the way, don't feel bad about the number of stories that were sent; it was fun making them (one time I got stressed so I just made them; 'twas a great outlet).

Anyway, the 'six word story' thing is often linked back to Ernest Hemingway, as Alyssa so rightly noticed in her comment. His story was "For sale: baby shoes, never worn." which I didn't do because BABY SHOE PICTURES?

They don't look all that fancy but hey, I'm not a graphic designer! Also, some of them were hard to find pictures for, so they might not match. Behold!

I've always wanted to do this. Thank you for your stories.

  4. Ooh. The pictures you made with these are SO PRETTY.
Whenever someone asks for a six word story from me, I get extremely un-creative and just say: Once upon a time. The end. :p

    1. Yeah, I really liked yours. I wish I could've done all of your submissions but they took quite a bit of time, and I had heaps of assessments due. :') Well, I found pictures off the internet that were free to use and could be modified, so I just put words over them. :)

  23. HOW had I not seen this post? It is awesome, and I LOOOOOOVE all these stories. I feel like, though, in adding the pictures, you told the rest of a story we didn't even know we were telling. That's just awesome, in my opinion. You should do this again sometime, because it is great. :D

    1. I didn't know you hadn't seen it! Your story was first. :') I'm glad you liked them, I tried to support the stories by adding visual elements to them (more room for imagination). Thank you so much! I will definitely do something similar in the future. :)
