watch me piano + blogging community tag

by - 6/21/2015 06:19:00 pm

Can piano be used as a verb? It can now (mwaha).

Quick life update: I made a commitment to start learning Nocturne Op. 9 No. 2 (which is arguably Chopin's most famous song), so I recorded my progress so far! I thought I'd share it because I was see bloggers sharing vids of them vlogging or singing and just, this is a personal blog anyway so why not?

Excuse my mistakes (there's so many *cringe*) , I still have to master it (also I was a nervous rabbit). I hope I didn't desecrate the song too much. Hmf. This is awkward. The reason I'm so bad is because I self-taught myself. And I'm not a very good teacher. Okay I'm done with my pitiful excuses.

But the real reason I made this post was to share the Blogging Community Tag, which I invented. Like, just now. I thought it would be nice remind us all how awesome of a community we are (and to spread the love, etc).

Rules:
- Answer the 7 questions
- Tag others (as much as you want)
- Provide link back to the creator of the tag (optional)
- Include the picture above in your post

Deep and thoughtful blogger?
A blog you always enjoying reading?

  2. Thank you for tagging me Jo! <3 I will get to it as soon as possible! :) I actually don't know a lot of those bloggers, so I have some getting to know people to do now. ^^
I used to play guitar, but after a year and a half of sore fingers every Monday and Wednesday I still couldn't play, so I gave up. You're really good at the piano! Chopin is so difficult to play...

I have one question regarding the post, because you don't have any answers to any of the questions (except the first)... The idea is lovely, though! I'm always for spreading love within the blogger community!

    1. I read your reply for my comment on your blog! I'm even gladder that I tagged you. :) And no problem!

I've always wanted to learn the guitar, but I've seen the bruises on my friends and...ouch. :') I can see why it would be tough, is what I'm saying. Thank you for your kind words, I'm kind of glad I'm not a master because it would feel like I was bragging on the internet instead of blogging. :)

      What's your question? I'm happy you think it's a good idea. :)

    2. No problem! And yeah, you're right, it's like a tag within a tag almost. I definitely think many bloggers out there need to receive the recognition they deserve. You're very kind, Miss Internet! :)

Glad you agree it's a verb. And don't worry, I was at that level like twoyears ago. :')

  7. The piano playing is so awesome! Playing for even a camera is nerve-racking! I always that a camera would be easier, but, uh, no. It's not. Plus my respect goes out to you; teaching yourself is never easy. You were fantastic!

Creating a tag is cool! I'll definitely do this one.

  8. Ooh, this is such an awesome tag! I really do love being able to return some love back to the blogging community, so I shall get this up soon! :) (And thanks for the shout-out using my blog as an example. XD I appreciate it!) I'm listening to the music right now, and I think it's so cool to hear your piano skills. I know there are mistakes, but sometimes they just add a little bit of character to the piece. :)

    1. Thanks! I'm glad you're doing it. :) And no problem, I really did mean what I said, you're very dedicated! Wow, that was kind of deep (what you said about mistakes). I guess they make it seem like I'm, you know, an actual person with flaws and stuff. Thanks for commenting! :D

    1. Thank you! And that's awesome (it is the best instrument, besides the violin group ;)). I've been playing since I was four but I missed out on regular lessons for 4 years, which is when I taught myself the intermediate/advanced parts. :)

  11. The piano playing was wonderful :') . Seeing other people play it so beautifully is what makes me regret the fact that I quit my piano lessons a few years ago :(

Plus, the tag idea sounds interesting!

  13. Thanks for tagging me, what a nice tag, it's so unique and just a great idea.

Your piano playing was amazing, it was so beautiful. I didn't even hear the mistakes! It's always difficult playing for a camera, our county orchestra was on the news and I was in front chair for violin and it was so scary!
